The Elder Oscar W. Richardson
started Bible Believers World Outreach Cathedral in the month of October 2006. He has 29 years of ministry in
the Grand Ole Church of God in Christ. He is married to Missionary Sheryl Ann Richardson for 29 years and has two sons
(Joshua Wayne and Jonathan Dwayne) from this God ordained union. From the sons of Pastor Richardson and First Lady
Richardson are grand children and daughters they never had. Joshua Richardson is married to Casselina and Jonathan is
married to Monique. From these two unions has come (6) grand children Ivan, Nicholas, Levi, Caleb, Joel, & JJ.

Believers World Outreach Cathedral is a Theocratic Church with a Global vision. We have our own Radio Station
that has been heard in 50 States and 125 Countries around the world with a potential listening base of 4 million
(plus) souls. In 2006 we released our first CD entitled “Lord Show Me Your Glory”, and its
doing great. The CD is now being played on over 300 Radio Stations and we've just signed a national distribution
deal. We also have our own "Sermon Data Base" on
this site so you can hear messages preached by Pastor Richardson. We love the Lord with all our heart and we will serve Him
totally until He calls us home.
Background History Of Our Church: The Elder Oscar W. Richardson
founded Bible Believers Church Of God In Christ in the month of November 1998. The Lord spoke these words to Pastor Richardson’s
heart at the “Ministers-A-Flame Hour”, during the Holy Convocation of the Churches of
God in Christ, “I now release you to go back to Louisiana and start a church.” Upon
returning to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Pastor Richardson told the eighteen people who was in his Bible Study Group what the
Lord had instructed him to do. Eleven out of the eighteen people attending the Bible Study pledged their allegiance to Bible
Believers Church Of God In Christ.
On the last Sunday in January of 1999, Bible Believers Church Of God In Christ was officially
organized and accepted as a church in Eastern Louisiana Jurisdictional #1 under the leadership of Bishop James Earl Gordon,
Jurisdictional Prelate of Eastern Louisiana. Our first official service was held on the first Sunday in February at the Hilton
Hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in one of the conference rooms and Bible Study was held every Friday night at the Pastor’s
home.
The Church facility is located at 11818 South Harrell's
Ferry Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70816. Since acquiring
this property we have made the changes necessary to transform the building into a warm inviting church edifice no member or
visitor would be ashamed to call their church home.
Since our move into our new edifice the ministry has grown slowly but soundly.
Our visitation is extremely high and our reputation of being a loving and warm church with a helping hand is being voiced
around the neighborhood.
